Utilisation de la technique exit avant une entree triomphale
Résumé
Churchill a été cité pour avoir affirmé : « Celui qui oublie de planifier son succes planifie son échec. » Afin de préparer la premiere intervention utilisant la technique du traitement intrapartum ex utero (EXIT) au Centre de santé IWK, 5 Halifax, beaucoup de planification et de collaboration ont été nécessaires. La technique EXIT est une technique pour sauver des vies, utilisée pour dégager les voies respiratoires d'un foetus lorsqu’il y a compression des voies respiratoires. L’intervention s'effectue tout en maintenant l’oxygénation et la perfusion par le biais de la circulation utéro-placentaire.1
