Sur le plan historique, l’intimidation dans le milieu des soins de santé a été tolérée et, dans de nombreux cas, elle était prévue. La Loi sur la santé et la sécurité au travail de 2015 a fourni la législation nécessaire pour encourager un changement afin d’aborder la culture de l’intimidation au sein des hôpitaux de la Nouvelle-Zélande. Cet article examine comment le fait de parler de l’intimidation, même si c’est difficile, est important dans le but de modifier la culture organisationnelle.
